I am an experienced psychotherapist and grief counselor in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work with individuals, couples and groups providing depth psychotherapy from an existential-relational perspective, integrating my poet's sensibility with a social justice focus. I offer curiosity, wisdom, humor, presence, authenticity and mindfulness to each encounter.
I consider myself an “activist” psychotherapist in the tradition of my social worker predecessors. In part what this means, currently and specifically, is that I am actively seeking an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people and support a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, including a US arms embargo. Not in my name.
I look forward to speaking with you to see if I would be a good person to accompany you on your therapeutic journey.
